A few months ago I sharted in front of my girlfriend. It was totally unexpected. We've been dating long enough that she found it hilarious. 

She was convinced this only happens to me. Somewhat unprompted over the intervening months, several of my friends told us stories of them also sharting themselves -- at work, driving, etc

Like a week or too ago but the crack was not breached so no underwear change was required. 

For me it’s all flatulent hubris. You think you can push that fart out quietly to alleviate the gas but don’t realize until it comes out hot that it’s in the wrong state of matter to be pushing so hard. Always ask yourself, “is this a solid, a liquid or a gas?” before you let it rip and position yourself accordingly.
