umad? here's an example. Ethereum finally switched to proof-of-stake, but it barely compared to the impression that GPT-4 made at the same time in history. let that sink in. and now crypto's narrative is "agent coins", but how big the generative AI userbase (hundreds of millions), and how many wallets are trading? that doesn't add up, by orders of magnitude. market is way more honest than any PR running damage control, or some Big Lie. some artificial cheerleader effect around pointlessly sarcastic content or aimless, rentseeking prototypes that extract more than they serve, or just jeeting tickers...that's brilliant, dude. really altruistic. very thoughtful and admirable. you've really sold me the pen.

the correct take is AI hype kicked off the same week ETH miners turned off. all those GPUs didn't go to mining other coins
