there's a luxury of information in mainstream tech, but anons aren't just wholly separate communities, they are "all the alt accounts". everyone lies and holds on to their unvalidated technical edge, to some degree. the social aspect is different, most of the action isn't hyped, shilled, or retrospectively lionized. it's not about the confidence in the anon's performance, but prestige of their remaining impact(s). severely allergic to manufactured consensus or puffery.
OP may be m/m, but any replyguy/dunker is 1/n, and "scene X has perfect memory".
anon leadership is this power of "the prestige".
it may be as "erudite" as "Publius"-style screeds.
it may be as "simple" as social engineering with "Bcc:" & OSINT
