For the "The Dems didn't go left enough!" crowd. You don't get it. Americans see the Democrat Party and hardcore leftists/progressives as one and the same. When a Pennsylvania steel worker sees you advocating for giving "trans kids" puberty blockers, he sees that as Dem policy.
