I watched my brother in law pass away today. His body was battling to survive after open heart surgery and today he lost the fight. It’s hard to put into words how I feel, one minute I’m talking to my boys like every other day and the next, I’m back in the hospital room watching him take his last breaths. 
Death is a part of life but it’s so hard to accept. It’s sad and so shockingly final. The thought I keep coming back to is when it’s my time to go, I hope I leave this world better than I found it.
