As far as I know some made a shit load but most made not-a-lot. Am I mistaken?

If you think it was a blunder, you never saw what it did for creator revenue.

They didn't but they could've set the tone right from the very start and gave people a message to propagate. 

It was a big messaging miss imo. The narrative was lost.

zora never actually called them free, everyone else did
