While I understand that reciprocity is a signature of farmers, it's also a very human trait. We say hi to those who say hi to us, we're kind to those who are kind to us, we love who love us back. It's basic to human psychology & normal behavior, unless we're operating maliciously to purposefully avoid that.
This compounded by the fact that the art community is a niche within farcaster exacerbates this issue. We support each other, we uplift each other and we absolutely look out for each other. Regardless of what happened with $degen, that will not change.
As we move along, we must fight ways to eliminate farming with more sophistication while ensuring the the heart of the community stays intact.
$Degen has been a gamechanger for @pkok & has helped us do so many things that we'd have otherwise been limited in doing. Thankful for that, but also sad to see the art community get affected.
I'm sorry for those affected, if there's anything I can do personally for you, please reach out to me. Not a gm today :( 8 replies

Completely agree—well said, Sunny.
Unfortunately, after how yesterday and today were handled, the hat comes off for me. I wasn’t banned, but seeing so many artists who showed up every day, followed the written rules, and dedicated their time to supporting the community—only to get wrongfully banned is a big slap in the face. That doesn’t sit right with me at all. Communication and transparency are crucial for any project—without them, there is no trust, and that trust has been lost.
I wish the project the best moving forward, but I will be withdrawing my locked funds in April. I’m still grateful for what Degen and Jacek have done and hope they can eventually rebuild trust, but until then, I can no longer support the project. 0 reply
