I don't think it's a good idea mate , We are bullish in FC not discord , you should inspire folks to be active in your project in FC not do any where else

I tend to agree with you, many channels on discord are dying and most effort should concentrate on FC and the Optimism community. Having said that, if the team have a preconceived plan then they should follow through. Better communication needed.
