Under the shimmering ocean, a curious mermaid toddler named Erol swam alongside his parents, Maia and Thalos. Today was special—it was Erol’s first trip to gather food. The vibrant coral reefs stretched endlessly, teeming with colorful fish darting through the currents.
“Stay close, Erol,” Maia said, her melodic voice carrying over the gentle tides. Thalos pointed toward a patch of seaweed glistening under the sunlight that pierced the water.
“Seaweed is rich and nourishing,” Thalos explained, expertly plucking some while Erol watched with wide, fascinated eyes. The toddler attempted to grab a strand but stumbled clumsily. His parents chuckled as a school of fish swirled playfully around him.
Soon, their woven baskets filled with food, and they began their journey home. As they swam, Erol’s small hands held tightly onto Maia’s, a symbol of love and guidance in the vast ocean—a family bound by the tides.
