Idk how to get more protocol discussion happening here as that's probably the main thing i use twitter for

I'm on the same boat as you, there is a lot less protocol/engineering focused discussion and wish there was more. I feel like it's a perfect place to have these discussions too. A protocol engineer cabal needs to be started on FC 

agreed - hopefully with time this changes. We can do our part for now

i feel like a lot of the "just come to farcaster" discourse misses this :(

lots of discussion abt vibes and real people etc, which is probably true (feels more like instagram x reddit in that regard, many more photos of ppl and things)

but the biggest issue is that the content here often feels like it is not what i want to see
