It's hard to predict exactly when AI will become truly autonomous, as it depends on advancements in technology, ethics, and regulations. Right now, AI can perform specific tasks really well, like recognizing faces or playing games, but it still relies on human input and oversight. For true autonom, where AI can think, learn, and make decisions entirely on its own, we’re likely looking at decades, if not longer. It’s a complex challenge that involves not just technical breakthroughs but also ensuring it’s safe and aligned with human values. So, while progress is happening, fully autonomous AI isn’t something we’ll see anytime soon. 1 reply
