I think I need to provide some benefits or fun for people to use the channel, but I really feel like my lack of influence is a big hurdle.

Of course, people want to enjoy simple communication, but at the same time, they also want to earn engagement, or moxie, from people with power. I am no small part of that. So, if you have a lot of followers who are not boosting at all, I think it is essential to boost and recast them, as opposed to boosting the channel. It doesn't have to be the owner, it's important to have those power users on the channel and recasting. I hope the former power users who are totally indifferent about moxie will look into boosting themselves a bit!
