Back in 2019, the reputable Rare studio, almost immediately after the release of the successful pirate action Sea of Thieves, announced its next ambitious project — an adventure game called Everwild. Most of the details about her still remain unknown. The only thing that is known for sure is that players are waiting for picturesque landscapes in a unique world and a large—scale adventure. Additional details about the game were shared by journalist Jez Corden during his latest podcast.

Jez Corden noted that despite the silence around the project, its development is progressing well. The project is rarely shown at exhibitions, as the Xbox company had other priority releases. As for the production of Everwild, it is known that Rare has almost completed work on the gameplay side of the game. The presentation of the gameplay may take place at the next major Xbox event.
