Just installed pipewire and configured a combined sink. Then I was tracking a weird echo/delay for 15min until I took my headphones off and realized that I was blasting music through my speakers the whole time as well 🤦‍♂️ All the while my gf sat behind me thinking I'm an idiot 🙄

What about a revocation or pause mechanism like locking your credit card? So you can quickly pause the entire wallet or some specific signer. Maybe even a special signer for that? Just thinking of gpg right now Also what about rotating individual signers? Makes stuff more complex, but the option would be great

Everybody is complaining about the wallet experience, but for the past 3 days I am trying to sign up with coinbase including kyc. Nothing works, cannot deposit fiat, UI throws errors. Not that great of an experience either

GitHub's artifact attestations https://shorturl.at/tFUV3 are generally a much needed feature. But the whole concept is still fundamentally flawed. It is built on the outdated trust model of just trusting some root certs and big tech. And there is no actual verification of the built computation / process

I just read that Vodafone wants to connect wallets into sim cards. https://t.ly/H-dXh That sounds generally like a bad idea. Integrating my private keys into a card that I do not control and that is tied to my government Id? I imagined not having a sim at all in the not too distant future...

“CMS” doesn’t have to be a bad word. 🤣 At least they seem to know what they are talking about

Some time ago I tried to figure out, how to create an ad blocker friendly frontend. However, I could not find any good guide or good information. I even reached out to ublock, but apparently this is a weird request. Essentially, it came down to look at the blocking rules. Isn't proper AdBlock a topic in frontend dev?

I would have personally just paid for more memory as it seems cheaper to pay maybe $100 more a month for the next year than wasting days of dev work, especially since the market is bad

My boss is actually pretty cool: Found some weirdly high memory usage in multiple test env on some services I am actually removing right now Me: looks like a platform or even kernel bug, could take weeks, we could just buy more memory Boss: no, it's a serious quality issue, good hunting

If you work on a framework I could see that you actually go for vanilla Js as you sometimes need some serious TS foo to get super generic types right. For everything else ts all the way

I am looking to switch, but brave gets the job done right now, especially the ipfs integration. Using FF a lot for development tho

A global clear cache button This is pretty annoying when developing a dapp frontend locally with anvil for example

Have you tried rabby? I think the handling of different seeds is one of its big strengths

If the frame is hosted on a centralized platform, there is no way to make any assumptions. You just cannot witness and verify what is happening. The dev could change the deployments or AWS decides they want to screw with you. Maybe some form of client side "hosted" frame?

Build this again on stream. Extremely quick and dirty but it works most of the time https://lovecaster.vercel.app/
