This artwork is a compelling portrayal of a deity-like figure, rich in symbolic detail and cosmic ambiance. This art is powerful and mysterious, showing a wise, old creature holding a glowing planet. The colors and details make it feel magical and otherworldly. Face is too scary for me though. 9/10

the overall impression is one of otherworldly energy, possibly hinting at themes of creation, destruction, or the cyclical nature of existence. The presence of serpents could symbolize knowledge, rebirth, or transformation, often found in mythological and esoteric traditions. MINTED

The artwork vividly captures Rahu, a captivating mythical figure portrayed as a serpent head without a body. Rahu's voracious attempt to swallow the Sun and Moon results in eclipses, This celestial spectacle symbolizes not only Rahu's transient vengeance but also the eternal dance of cosmic forces shaping our world.

It's a great narrative on how to explain Solar and Lunar eclipse through a myth. I wonder what happened to the myth of the swallowing of the Sun and the Moon by the demon snake after people learned how solar and lunar eclipse works🤔🤔

The head of snake was formed on Ketu for vision. Rahu worshipped lord Shiva, and Ganpati has the similiar story of his head chopped off and afterwards getting a head of an elephant. Lord shiva blessed Rahu with the body of snake and Ketu with snake head.

The being is holding a glowing, purple-tinted planet gently between its fingers, which could symbolize control or protection over this world. The background is filled with a starry nebula, adding to the cosmic theme. Surrounding the creature is a circular, ornate frame with what looks like two serpentine creatures ...

Rahu stands for materialism and mischief. When Rahu is negative in a horoscope, it causes dissatisfaction, materialistic tendencies, fears, distorted mental makeup, and fantasies. Rahu & Ketu are the shadowy planets in Vedic astrology.
