To resurrect this from the dead, if you’re still looking, take a look at both the Angstadt MDP-9 and the CMMG Dissent. Both use delayed blowback mechanisms similar to the MP5 resulting in reportedly very smooth action.

About how much did that build cost you do ya think?

Lmk if you want to do a 9 build. Getting all the parts separately and putting them together is the best way to get a good running ar. I put a binary trigger on it too. It runs flawlessly

If you’re plinking and want to have a dual use 9mm setup checkout a Montana company mechtech.  I’ve shot their 10mm setup connected to a Glock 20 chassis and it was tits.  Bonus is you would also have a 9mm pistol to convert back to.
