people think selling jpegs on crypto rails makes them a web3 business; no, that’s a web2 business.

a web3 business is building with your community and the hivemind with aligned incentives, rather than building in your own silo and making money on blockchain rails. those that embody those ethos will find success.

there is a weird thing in crypto where they build for crypto users and alienate web2 users, but crypto users are actually web2 users — so why don’t we just build for normal users and everyone will latch on. like im building Club Penguin for 2025.”
