**Anonymous post** I worked with a guy who would not shut his mouth. I had to travel to New York from Boston with him once a week for a few months straight, and it was absolute torture sitting with him on a 3.5 hour train ride. On our 3rd or 4th trip, we mistakenly sat in the Amtrak Acela quiet car, where you're not allowed to talk above a whisper and phone calls are forbidden. Not only was it a nice respite from his verbal diarrhea, but it was hilarious watching him squirm to try to keep himself occupied without being able to talk. Eventually he would get up and hang out in the bar car just to talk to people. I loved the quiet car when traveling with that guy.
