Also the user was connected to a Chainalysis Monero node and swapped on CEX. Doing those things you will never keep privacy with any crypto.

True, but it's nice to imagine a world where you don't need to trust your RPC endpoint to not be snitching. Definitely a hard problem, but interesting solutions are coming around.

I like fully p2p payments with off chain aggregation, settled regularly on chain by large merchants. Seems like a good starting point.
