i'd like an option to hide all replies / recasts / main casts from low quality users across main feed, trending, and all channels

Yep I agree, what are some other more visible factors that determine user “quality” other than Active Badge?

too simple. it will be tough to nail down since it is actually quite hard to get the active badge with the 400 follower requirement. there are some interesting people here looking for genuine conversation who won't hit that 400 follower limit for awhile and i don't want to block them from being found.

Active badge holders only filter would be nice
