The ChatGPT chatbot can provide links to sites with malware, according to a Futurism report.

The publication asked OpenAI's neural network about Bronze Star and Medal of Commendation winner William Goines, who became the first black US Navy SEAL in the early 1960s. ChatGPT reported on it and linked to an unknown site called County Local News for more information.
Pop-up malicious windows appear on the proposed site, simulating an update for Adobe Flash Player and other software.
According to Futurism, ChatGPT recommended County Local News in other queries.
Malwarebytes cybersecurity expert Mark Stockley noted that such sites can distribute malware.
