The Glass City.

Beware of the Glass City. You might see it on a clear sunny day, just on the edge of the horizon. It will seem close, but you mustn’t try to reach it. It doesn’t belong to this world or really any other...

Stare for too long and a stranger will approach. He might seem friendly, but he always keeps his face turned towards the sun, so that you can’t see that it’s made of glass.

He’s from there, and he will try to convince you to go. He knows all of your dreams, your hopes and your deepest fears. He will tell you that everything is perfect in the Glass City and that it’s the solution to all your problems. Don’t listen to him.

They built the city out of glass so that the eyes can watch everything. At first they watch your actions, then your thoughts, your dreams and your memories. As they watch they steal, until you having nothing left.

So if you see the Glass City just look away and try to forget about it. If the stranger follows you, run home and close the curtains.

Some say that in the end the inhabitants turn into glass and shatter, but nobody knows for sure because nobody has ever come back.
