Are kickstarter campaigns still the go to for board game launches? I’m curious if people still browse and gamble on projects or if they wait until they come out and are reviewed. I haven’t done a KS backing in about a year because of long lead times, failed launches, and the exclusives weren’t worth it.

I went nuts on Kickstarter for a few years and now I don't because I have too many games to play but I do think it's still the go to with many publishers folding.

I went nuts when CMON was pumping out games. Zombicide was my first big KS, then I got Masmorra and Arcadia Quest from them. I really liked their miniatures quality. I feel like CMON really embraced the KS exclusives and followed demand properly
