Been looking into Metis L2 recently. They have several pretty big catalysts coming such as the launch of the first decentralized sequencer, liquid restaking and a massive ecosystem fund getting deployed soon.

I also tested their decentralized sequencer on testnet and it worked quite well with a few minor bugs, as can be expected for a testnet.
