Twitter is getting worse every day. I couldn't imagine this kind of speech from Elon Musk a few years ago. Entrepreneurship seems to create monsters as fast as it creates heroes. It feels like the platform and its owner are beyond repair now.

I've been working on branding projects for 10+ years. People tend to overcomplicate the process and for a startup that doesn't work. On the other hand, just building a logo with an online tool is not always the right decision. So, here are three elements you should focus on: 1. Build a clean visual identity. Pick one colour, logo, and font that sends the right message. The right colour says a lot about your brand; you can keep it simple with the logo. 2. Tell a good story. Who are you, and where are you going? Why are you going there inspires others to come with you. People love and understand simple stories. 3. Build a good experience for your customers. Be open, available and transparent. Share all the info your customers might want to know and make it really easy for them. It's all about the customer. This structure seemed to work nicely. If you get these right everything else falls into place.

Marketing should add value. In too many businesses, marketing is seen as a cost center. As a department who's purpose is to convince people to buy products or services. But that's WRONG. Marketing should help potential clients make the right decision. Marketing should inform and educate.

It's both a blessing and a curse. :)) It depends a lot on what each person looks for in life. The freedom part also means that nobody is there to tell you what you should do next. And that comes as a shock to most people switching from corporation jobs to entrepreneurship.

So you get to settle the score a lot more elegantly—no need for violence. Let your money do the "fighting" for you.

Working with family is great. I've been working with my brother for the past ten years. It's not always rainbows and sunshine, but I like it, and I would not exchange what I'm doing for any other job in the world. Entrepreneurship is great. Working with family and friends makes every day even better.

My view for the day. Half of the day, to be honest. I work from outside or in a coffee shop as much as possible. Regular offices with the same view and the same chair every day bore the *** out of me. I like nature and love what I'm doing, so why not enjoy both at the same time? This is my #helloworld post.
