The hidden cost of aging politicians: their policies transfer wealth from young to old. Biggest tax breaks? Mortgage interest and capital gains. Who owns homes and stocks? Older generations. Social Security also got a 9% boost, while young people face higher rents, student debt, and fewer child tax credits.

I think the issue is that we don’t vote enough as youths. I genuinely believe if we could vote enough we’d get more things but the nihilism that sits in our chests lead us toward being idle.

Yah that's definitely a big problem - how did you land on this one as the most imp one to solve?

The nihilism? I read a book and some old boomer, who accepted that the generation fucked those ergo followed them, said because they’ve sucked all the hope from the system we’ve become nihilist. It’s 100% accurate

Ahh, I see your point now. I was too focused on the increasing youth voter turnout part. My first thought was young voters aren't aware of these issues and prefer to blame Elon, so how does getting more of them to vote help? But you're saying if we fix the nihilism, their awareness will also improve? Makes sense.

Yes! Who participates in a system that you believe doesn’t help you or is detrimental to you?
