My first Cast on birdwatching. Blue footed boobies. Galapagos. Photo taken from a shaky, bouncy inflatable raft with a long lens. I was more than a little worried about my camera drowning in one of the big waves. Still was thrilling to actually see the boobies. Even more exciting to be able to reel off a bunch of photos from the rocky raft( Zodiacs).

it’s crazy that the only color they have is the blue in their beaks and their feet
