76 MG bought for $1k. 4 cylinder, 4 speed with 65 horsepower. Wringing that thing out to 85 mph was harrowing! Only nearly died in it twice.

'97 Subaru Outback 

Started life as a farm car on my grandfathers property in Appalachia. Learned how to drive stick in it when I was 12. Was sent out to the suburbs to be the family beater when I got my permit. 

Ran that thing into the ground, and killing it is one of my biggest regrets. 10/10
goated vehicle.

Love Subarus. Had a 2004 Forrester that I got to drive through the northeast and it was the goat. Current family car is also an outback
