Yup you’re right! You can basically call web2 api endpoints or websites from within a smart contract

I’m not sure I understand, can you use something like this inside real smart contracts? I guess not right?

I have used this in forge for tests with the 1inch API. Spoilers it just uses ffi to call curl under the hood. Still super useful. I think I had to fork it IIRC.
