Excited to announce a little project I've been working on 🌚 CONCEALMINT.com - Create and mint NFTs with private files that only the owner can unlock Let me explain a bit in the thread below ✍🏻

Token gated content isn't anything new. I actually did a post a while back that used encrypted files on IPFS to unlocked content based on conditions inside LitProtocol. While this is a cool approach, it's not truly private content. Encryption can break, and having encrypted files linger on a network where anyone can pin them and access them is not ideal.

To demonstrate an alternative I built this app to show how you can create private NFTs. Each NFT has metadata and a cover image that is on IPFS so any marketplace or wallet can render it. However the private file that is being gated is stored on the Pinata Files API, which provides true privacy.

By mixing a bit of web3 with web2, we can provide a secure way of determining the owner of the NFT and who is logged in using @privy πŸ”₯
