maybe in dollar terms but its hard to put a valuation on free speech imo imagine how much worse and unbalanced the media would've been if he didn't buy it

I think as a public medium it serves a need that others have yet to truly fill (not for a lack of trying), but it’s a far cry from what it once was. When onchain social really takes off, I think we’ll see a new wave of optimism/interest.

oh totally. but it's currently the only true mass scale, public media source that exists today imo despite the bots and other issues i hope youre right regarding onchain social taking off honestly. perhaps a combo of that plus attestations from folks like /eas can play a role in combatting misinfo and censorship in the near future in the meantime i hope the steelers don't get davante and the jets do 😜
