Yeah Shape was a new experience for me. See Xcopy doing something on there too, artists love to test new mediums.

ya i totally get it and for artists like xcopy and deekay its no big deal. and don't get me wrong, i'm all for experimentation too but overall imo it's a poor UX and a big lift to expect users to bridge funds just to use a different chain when there's already great chains like @base to satisfy this need. one day hopefully though this bridging will be abstracted away by wallets or some other means and it will be a non-issue.

100%. Right now it feels like field research, trying out new activities and chains, but eventually we won’t even need to know or care what L2 we’re on.
