Hello, friends! ะัะธะฒัั, ะดััะทั! ๐๏ธThe International Mother Language Day is celebrated annually on February 21. ๐It was proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 and has been observed worldwide since 2000. Some facts: ๐There are approximately 7,100 languages spoken in the world today. ๐The most widely spoken languages are English, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, and Arabic. ๐Many languages are spoken by only a small number of people, and nearly 40% of languages are considered endangered. โWhat is your mother language? And how many languages can you speak? Languages connect us to our roots and cultures. Today we celebrate the power of words in every language!
