APPLE AND STARLINK ON IPHONE WITH iOS 18.3

Apple has taken a major leap by integrating Starlink into iPhones with the iOS 18.3 update, offering users off-grid connectivity without the need to point their phone at the sky.

Now, iPhones can connect to Starlink satellites right from your pocket, providing an alternative to Globalstar.

T-Mobile is already testing the feature:

For now, it’s just text messaging, but SpaceX and T-Mobile are working on adding voice calls and data transmission in the future.
