When the guide is released, Sophie will see little to nothing from the establishments she's helped. At The Spoke, Gaby & Brian will follow Sophie, search for a hotel in their favorite location and receive her recommendations.

One last thing to note -- one person is helping multiple people here. In my opinion, building a social graph with less but stronger connections between users > more but weaker connections between users. Less user density required for users to receive value.
