Latin GRAMMY week is over and if there’s anything I take away from it is. Meet with cool people, don’t do parties if it’s not your vibe, you will not miss anything. Got to put my kids to bed and felt like I was actually being more impactful than ever.

One thing they don’t tell you when you become a parent is that kids fingernails hide themselves in everything. Every week I cut their nails, count them, collect them and throw them out, but inevitably there’s ONE little one hiding in my throw blanket that will stab me. 😫

The way people prey on parents of neurodiverse kids is ravenous. Everyone claims to have “cures” or “perfect solutions.” Knowing how incredibly hopeless and lonely parenting a kid in the spectrum can be. We just need to see and hold space each other.

What time is the flight? Does it coincide with naps? If so try to keep them up before the flight. Tablets are great, do not forget headphones and practice them wearing them. Kids also love those gel sticky window things. Take all the snacks, and something to drink (pop those ears). Use car seats, you can board first.
