In 2017, I learned about ether. I put in a few grand, rode a good portion of the way up and took some good gains. I had multiple alts that I held longer term that I eventually converted to BNB after 80% losses. $50 in BNB was all I owned.

In 2021, I learned about Dogecoin. My vendor SME brought up his $500 investment in doge in 2017. Worth over 100k at 0.22. I was intrigued and found my $50 of BNB worth over $800. I stopped believing that this could be a fad, and started believing this is the technology we need for the future...

I first heard about sandbox and decentraland in 2018 after the ETH bull had largely ended. I thought it was ridiculous. I told my co-workers at the time about it as a joke. But by mid 2021, NFTs were getting media coverage like crazy, and I knew it was the next thing. Went all in on NFTs.

My first NFT was The Doge Pound. It was exciting, John Lemon is a legend and he has never stopped living up to my view of him. CryptoDads was my second NFT, I tried to mint public for the first time and failed. So I bought secondary and made a killing. I should have stopped there...

After that, I kept going, I was big into real estate at that time, I had two rentals and I had my real estate license and was looking for deals. But I started shifting majority of my attention to crypto because the idea that it would be lasting completely shifted my world view...

I went on to lose large amounts of money as I escalated risk tolerance and bought into hype way to heavily. I sold my rentals because I was tired of it and my partner in one of my rentals wanted out. I doubled down in crypto with all of my gains. And I lost a large majority of it...

And through it all, I looked at what I had put my money into. I looked at what opportunities there were for all these animal pfp NFTs. And I decided, CryptoDads has the best opportunity for longevity because of the nature of parenthood. Younger Crypto Natives will eventually settle down. If any NFT brand can make it long term, CryptoDads can...

Months later, I went on to join the team in the transition from the original founders. We still have an incredible community of 100-200 actives, which in the current time reference is 10x many others that were comparable just a year ago...

We don't quit. Why? There are people who believe in our brand just like our core team. We haven't been paid to do the work we do to keep maintaining the brand. We do it because we believe in the brand to a level that is incomprehensible to most people. If its possible to bring this many people together for 3 years, anything is possible in 10 years...
