Can we make devcoins work? During the last two months, I was free to spend all my time on old and new pet projects. It has been one of my most productive couple of months ever (links in thread): - fcp: The "Farcaster copy" allows you to copy data from and to hubs. Ideal if you want to make and restore backups of your fc activity. - farma: A Farcaster Mini App notification server - pingem: A user-friendly web interface to farma, that lets technical and non-technical users setup notifications for and send notifications from their Mini App, without touching any code. - lemon3: A client that uses Farcaster+IPFS to share and distribute media files or any size. (early prototype) - gh-frame: A GitHub action that will turn your GitHub readme into a Farcaster-friendly Mini App, using GitHub pages. - l--o--l, an NFT collection of one-line, ASCII-art spaceships, stored 100% onchain. Want me to continue working on these, and similar projects, hodl some $lemon3!

How is your devcoin funding your work? Are the trading fees enough to sustain you? Are you selling the token?

No the trading fees are not a considerable amount (unless it gets to thousands of $$$ trading volume per day, which is not realistic). I have 15% of the total supply locked since token launch (will be unlocking in one week). If the value and liquidity is high enough, I could sell some to pay my salary and expenses. For speculators, the concept is that selling some to work on the projects will bring even more value. For plain supporters, it's like a donation. The nice thing is a devcoin could align the interests of both groups.
