I mean, we usually think like this: "If my small team had the funds and resources of Apple, nothing could stand in our way."
But the reality is that Apple, and Google, and the rest are big, slow, organizations with internal conflicting interests and too much at stake.
So, Apple noticed AI, but... Siri. Google was in AI before everyone, but OpenAI is eating their lunch. When you are a huge public company, it's very difficult to do something outside what made you a huge public company. 1 reply
