It’s kinda like playing a game where warpcast is the opponent and the referee, which is not attractive for any serious business Perhaps the most viable at this stage is a distributed effort to build an open source client and maybe raise some funds from the community to cover costs

to your 1st point…YES & this makes it feel like such a delicate situation. they claim one thing at the protocol level but do another at client level bc…incentives. to your 2nd, i’ve been thinking a lot about how to pull this off. it’s a colossal undertaking even to get something half-baked together, imo…
