A lot of indexing infra right now depends on events though iirc. Things like dune and graph(might be wrong).

Would need the infrastructure to catchup/add this functionality if not would be quite messy?

that's what i'm thinking too. gains are negligible on L2 especially

on the other hand uniswap getting rid of events would force infra to catch up. not sure where the removing events narrative is at but people are pointing to shadow.xyz as the alternative and they're not even open source from what i can tell 💀

the fervor around shadow scares me. we must not create a dependency on a private company with closed source tech

I feel like the gas improvements is too negligible. The amount of engineering effort(from the infra side) to do this can be better spent elsewhere though idk where/what to spend it on lol
