Up to 50% of CS2 players can be brought on-chain if there is an on-chain tournament infrastructure (Faceit/ Challengermode) 🤔 

Unfortunately, I'm not a comp sci girlie, or I'd rig a small tournament that requires a wallet linked to Steam acct to sign up and spawns match rooms on Popflash, maybe...

50% choosing no is weird to me. any idea why?

I got this comment from a regular viewer and I think it's a good point about how incentives would ease the friction of "making ANOTHER new account." Once the account is made, it's up to us to keep their momentum (i.e. why people used to pug on ESEA instead of on Faceit when both were options).

ah okay so it's less about the crypto than it is the overhead of yet another account

i was going to suggest third party login (does faceit/esea support this?) and defer the crypto part to when prize money needs to be claimed
