i want to locally index the code for all my projects so that i can easily search for code snippets across projects. any tools that do this today?

Yeah that’s useful but I’m trying to access code across a bunch of different codebases on my machine

not that i know of… sometimes i ask cursor for an outline from codebase though

maybe a jetbrains IDE and just import the root of your src dir instead of a specific project?
