I think I’m getting tired of frontend development?

You’re always building the same stuff, the same components, just with different style and slightly different functionality which makes it just not compatible with code you wrote previously. If you could reuse, the setup is too much work so you just build everything from scratch again.

Maybe it’s time to protocollize all of this and just say here’s web3s Bootstrap.js follow it for easy dapps and then gradually make it more extendable as it grows? There’s definitely a market for this, also with AI driven development becoming more common.

weekend hack: tx.steer.fun a tool to create shareable transactions

started with a transaction creation ui. it lets you
- search for any contract across popular evm chains by name or address
- load a recent transaction on that contract
- read values from functions
- create share urls

i'm trying to build something along these lines and i don't think you need a protocol necessarily

it's just a transaction editor for now but if you add the right building blocks it can be a frontend for any onchain app. frontends could probably be generated for arbitrary contracts using AI

What I was thinking about is more like a default set of components that work for all common use cases. So you can just plug them in your app and get good wallet support, transactions, SIWE, signatures all with error handling & whole flow without the need to write custom code
