the EF would not be able to "save" ethereum even if they tried ethereum is decentralized - it's up to you and me to build cool shit that normal people can and want to use crying to the EF is effectively crying "can devs do something". we're past that. grow up.

decentralization still goes over the head of most and it's benefits will be massively tested in the next few months.

are you saying its benefits will be tested in terms of whether it's worth the effort when comparing to less decentralized systems in the coming bull market?

yes, allthough it will be a matter of perception more than testing the underlying tech. decentralization has proved countless times to be avantageous for the wider ecosystem, but if individuals don't experience or understand this, they will default to centralization and individualism. "devs, do something" is an indicator people crave accountability from one central entity. It's the same as "help us, mr. president": not healthy for democracy.
