The main (and only) reason why AI needs web3 AI progress will continue regardless: from LLMs to vision to multimodal to "plan&reason" models. Up until AGI. What's important is the governance and ownership around this. Who will have access, ability to fine-tune and own the AI?

Crypto AI market cap growth is not a sign of conviction. It’s an inefficiency that usually leads to a bubble. We need decentralized AI. But growth in AI tokens today is just a consequence of crypto having too much money and too little narratives to deploy it efficiently.

AI replacing human workers is not a political debate. It's an inevitability. Any society that will refuse to embrace this change will make itself irrelevant until total oblivion.

Is AGI going to be a gigantic black-box model or a decentralized network of autonomous agents? How can be ensure even access to unbiased, helpful AI for all? Trying to answer these questions in my new article: https://twitter.com/cyberFund_/status/1767167203449897470

AI consciousness is not a risk but rather necessity. AGI needs self-reflection, empathy and inner world to organize a marketing strategy, a conference, making a video, teaching a child, filing for residency, or legal actions, and effectively allocating capital. To do something useful, finally.

Ilya says that open AI will be misused. Yet closed AI will also most likely be misused (by nation states for political purposes and by corporations to beat competition). Do we have to choose the lesser evil? Or try build alternative coordination mechanisms and beat Moloch?

web3 can be useful to prevent AI misuse risks in a few ways: 1. Distributed incentives (more people can contribute to ML R&D, including data, code, labeling, rlhf) 2. Cryptography (hard guarantees of authenticity, privacy, provenance) 3. Governance and decision-making

DeAI thesis: AGI will not be a single omnipotent black box running from OpenAI bunker datacenter AGI is a trillion of interconnected models and agents with constantly evolving training and evaluation pipelines.

crypto = macro Almost all good coins and chains behave as sovereign monetary systems. Take this into account when investing or designing tokenomics

Decentralized AGI requires millions of RAGs, fine-tunings and agent tools but relatively few foundational models.

AI for crypto (as for everything else) Crypto for AI (decentralizing AI development and, ultimately, AGI) AI + crypto (agents that live onchain)

I read every single AI x Crypto report. Most of them answer the question: "AI is growing. How can we sell more tokens?" Real question is: "AGI is coming. How can we ensure 1 entity doesn't control it?"

Why DeAI? inference = censorship-resisntance training = decentralization of power crypto incentives = acceleration of innovation dePIN = freedom of compute

With 1 million token window you can now actually “teach” AI by talking to it. This means everyone who can write or speak is now an ML engineer doing LLM fine-tuning.

Airdrop = CAC at $0 with delayed cost in a form of selling pressure And yet I still don’t understand a single economic reason for airdrops for exist.

Everyone forgot about Sora, the new hit of the week is Groq. The team created a custom ASIC for LLM, which allows generating ~500 tokens per second. For comparison, GPT averages 30 tokens/s.
