so there was i in 2012 learning swe and decided to do a 48 hour no-sleep marathon to learn obj-c

ended up learning it and launching the first app that could trade btc and other coins on the app store shortly after

btc-e admins even gifted me 2btc for that

how did you end up working in crypto?

wanted to buy weed on the dark web in 2014.
found out about bitcoin, learned about mining.
built a rig, found a block, realized decentralized public ledgers were the future of not only finance but all of society.

quit my career in medicine that year to dive in full time.

I think wall street market was the first one I used

i always admired anyone who got into crypto bc of Silk Road, they were a bit earlier than me…. although i posted about Bitcoin in 2011, but i was totally broke and didn’t buy any

nobody really talks about it but it was the first real case study of crypto payments and a full crypto marketplace

lots of interesting things came out of it, like escrow accounts and some more abstract used of multi-sig

There was a recent bust of a dark web drug market that used crypto…
This new one has Fentanyl laced in everything 🙃
