Because of the power badges and anti-spam measures (that incidentally didn't reduce spam and drove away many real users, myself included)? I imagine Moxie will temporarily bring people back to posting but like all financial incentive schemes will ultimately doom this place to a cesspool of inauthenticity.

The anti spam measures seem to be targeting real users at a high rate. They are more harmful than helpful right now, without a doubt in my experience.

I don't even blame them for testing things out, but to leave real users who were caught up in it with no recourse is just the same old big corp, web2 behavior we're trying to get away from. I tried for weeks to get someone to look at my account but was just ignored. Then I blew up at them and am probably on some kind of no-fly list now. lol C'est la vie.

Yeah clearly an anti-growth strategy. I'm kind of surprised whenever I click "see more replies" and none or few of them are actually bots
