ITAP, maybe the most impressive building i ve seen in front of my eyes!! The Monastery of Simonos Petra, also known as Simonopetra, is one of the twenty monasteries of Mount Athos, Chalkidiki, Greece. Built on a granite rock, the monastery is one of the boldest buildings of Byzantine engineering, as it is a seven-story tower building. The monastery was founded in the 13th century by Simon the Athonite. Unfortunately only men can visit. /justbuild
