Good Saturday morning! 𧑠Do you believe that I grew these pumpkins? In Ukraine they are called "harbuz". Okay, anticipating your doubts - yes, this is my harvest! A few years ago, when I lived outside the city, I bought seeds in the supermarket, planted them and, to my surprise, several pumpkins grew to such impressive sizes! π I remembered this photo on the eve of Halloween - the best time for big pumpkin stories. You know, there used to be an interesting custom in Ukraine: if a girl did not want to marry a guy who was asking her hand in marriage, she would give him a "harbuz"! This symbolic gesture made it clear that the way to the girl's heart was closed πββοΈπ
